MAX CAVALERA SIGNATURE GUITAR STRAP

Working with Max is more than just a business highlight for me, but also a real matter of the heart.

The albums Beneath the Remains, Arise and Chaos AD clearly influenced my musical youth. Especially from Arise, I will still sing you every single song from memory, even if I use some of my “own” words, which I sing the way I understood them as a 15-year-old. Would you like an example? For me, “Obscured by the sun” is “Absurd by the sun.” And "Obliteration of mankind" is "Oh! Liberation of mankind" etc.

Hahaha... No one notices that in the crowd and noise anyway.

As a teenager, I studied and read the album covers and booklets meticulously. Of course I also looked at the list of endorsing companies and had great admiration for everyone who works with this awesome artist.

I have remained a fan over the years. And now the time has come! Our petite and dignified brand has reached Max's heart and shoulder and all of us at RICHTER® are proud to be able to make and offer his signature guitar straps.

I took a chance at the current CAVALERA tour to meet Max and adjust the straps to his needs directly at the guitar rig in Wiesbaden at the venue SCHLACHTHOF.

The signature guitar strap from Max is a fine piece of leather decorated with powerful rings and eyelets. Although massive and brutal in appearance, it is still comfortable and not as heavy as it looks.

Max has had the actual design for the strap with rings and eyelets on stage for some time based on a one-off production and the basic design should therefore already be familiar to one or the other fan.

When developing the series straps, the main aim was to make the strap suitable for fans with different length requirements. We therefore decided on a strap with a slide-in end piece. It can be used in a length of 116 - 185 cm (45.7 - 72.8 inches) length from guitar pin hole to guitar pin hole. This should fit well for the majority of fans.

The material is a mix of comfortable nappa leather on the shoulder piece and a piece of robust and indestructible buffalo leather for the end piece.

To prevent the strap from stretching and warping too much, we install a layer of reinforcing textile.

In addition to the fact that the Max Cavalera Signature Strap is an authentic collector's item, you can also confidently use it as an extremely useful, distinctive and indestructible guitar strap.

Max uses the RICHTER® Transmitter Pockets for Shure GLXD1 transmitters on all of his guitars.

His guitar tech Kenny “Ken Dog” Carruth fell in love with the well-thought-out system straight away. The pockets keep the device perfectly in position, dry and also offer good shock protection. The mute switch is easily accessible and the antenna and the socket for the connection cable are also exposed. To change the battery or synchronize with the station, the entire system can be removed from the strap and guitar in a matter of seconds and reattached just as quickly. Gone are the days of tape, fiddling and sweatbands.

The LOXX fastening system also guarantees a firm and secure hold.
