MATT GONZO ROEHR

In addition to his solo activities, Matt "Gonzo" Roehr is also known as the guitarist for the rock band Böhse Onkelz.

His unique guitar playing has a very individual sound colored by rock, metal, blues and punk.

Through his work at Böhse Onkelz, he is one of the most successful and well-known German rock musicians.

His solo project earned him a Los Angeles-New York IMN Award. With the single "Same Old Song And Dance", Gonzo was not only successfully represented in the IMN charts for a long time and even reached number 1, he also won the award for "Comeback Artist of the Year 2022".

The RICHTER® string composition that Gonzo uses live and in the studio is designed for standard E tuning. This is not extreme either. But it brings with it a special feature and a decisive advantage for Gonzo. The basically rather thick set of strings is used with a relatively thin E string for the low E.
